It's funny...

It's funny how people you didn't really like in the first place becomes someone who's close to you in the end...

It's funny how things can be so different before and after...

It's funny how things can be such a shocking news to you when you least expected it...

It's funny how you can do so much for the person you love...

It's funny how mindset can change... two years ago you might say you'll never like A, two years later you're WITH A...

It's funny how you can fall for someone just like that... Is it love? or just admiration?

~ Don't treat me nice... I don't want to fall for you...
PS: Listen to No Secret's "I'll Remember You" (thanks Sheryl), Gary Chaw's "I'll Be There" (thanks Chingky) and Kwok Fai's "Yat Bak Sui". Darn nice songs.

[Lyrics] Nian Shao - Xin Nian Kuai Le

The other day Quan Nan Ban Junior sang this song during their promo. I've been hearing this song quite often on air these few days and have been liking it more and more. Credits to happypill for this song that I post up. Can't download it so put someone else's one.

There's still kind hearted human in this world~

Those of you who's laughing at my post title, stop laughing! :p

Busy busy weekend... busy busy sunday... 3 events in one day... haha, those of you from my college must be scolding me so free go events while people all busy doing dissertation... hehehe... It's entertainment ok... stress ah~ :p

Daniel had a cookie baking (more of a cookie piping) session in Subang Carrefour at 11.30am. Was doubting to go or not but I went for some reason but end up being a bit disappointed. Anyhow, Daniel was dressed in white tee and a red and white jacket on top. Nice :) He had fun piping the cookies. I was like 1 meter away from him. Gosh, rarely I get to stand so near and see him.

Then we went to Uncle Lim's to have lunch and walked back to Carrefour side and saw the 988 road cruisers. So stayed and played awhile. It was damn funny. Jimmy zai Jimmy zai. Kakaka!

After that I rush to Summit for the Quan Nan Ban's promo. The album is supposed to release today (28th) but you get to buy it earlier on that Sunday. Pei Jie *wub*, Joseph, Michael, Wayne, Dylan and Richard was there. All but the two siu yeh (Danny One and Eric Lim). Gosh, I'm liking Pei Jie more and more. His voice is so damn powerful. Although the sound system sucks, but his voice is so clear! He looks like he put on weight though. And his smile... lum sei. And he hosted the event! Multi tasking ;)

Clockwise from top left: Dylan, Richard, Joseph, Wayne, Michael, I.C.E. Kids, Pei Jie *wub*

Their album is selling at RM25, free poster. 13 tracks including songs like Siapa by Danny, Xue Jie by Dylan, Qing Ge by Eric Lim, the Quan Nan Ban theme song "You Ni De Tian Tang" (Heaven That's Got You), QNB Junior theme song "Tian Shi De Sheng Yin" (Angel's Voice) etc. Quite a touching album I would say. Worth it. Actually, looking at their effort, I know it's quite tough to survive in this competitive music industry. Sigh, just hoping the best for them.

1st February (1PM) will be their launching ceremony at Sungai Wang. All 8 of them in Quan Nan Ban will be there!!! So if you're free, come over and give them some support ya! Pweaseeee! :) Can get their album and get it signed too!

After that, rush over to 'Cow Car Water' for a CNY concert. It started at 7.30pm with some games. Giving out 5 LCD Plasma TV weh fuiyoh! Danny was the 1st to perform then Quan Nan Ban junior was the second. We thought 'good lah, after they perform then can leave', not really interested to see the others. Mana tau si beh suiii one loh the sky, when Danny come out it rained!! And those people in front start taking out their umbrellas! I can't even see a single thing! And the rain got heavier and heavier. I was soaking wet from left to right, from inside out :p Well, even though he didn't see us but at least he saw the boards :) But I didn't get to see Pei jie :( Went to mamak after that and waited until the ending. But Danny left early already!

What's more interesting is what happened next. Hahhaha I told so many people about it. Sot jor. Longggggg story. Cut the story short - a taxi double parked and my car couldn't go out. Waited half an hour then only realize the taxi's windscreen got the driver's mobile number (kns ccb). I parked near a condo so the driver live upstairs and was sleeping. Knn. Called and waited for him to come down. While waiting, a leng chai who was yum cha-ing (unfortunately with a girl) at the mamak nearby came over and asked 'yiu mm yiu ngo bong lei reverse ah?' (Actually I know he kept looking over lah, maybe he was thinking 'so stupid one this girl, slowly reverse mah can go out loh') My first thought was 'leng chai lei hou leng chai ah' kekeke! I rejected and thanked him. (Should have let him reverse and ask for his name, bodoh) Kakaka nvm la fated la. Sigh. Fanny said 'rupanya this world still got nice people one' ;) (samore so leng chai)

It's true lah. Seldom you can find kind hearted people nowadays. Even if they're nice to you, you will doubt whether are they trying to rob you or something. What say a leng cai one... kekekeke! Ookok, stop being gatal... good night :)

First Genting Trip 2008

Went up to Genting yesterday for the Jia Yu Ying Chun Ji Lek show. Got a lot of local and HK artistes such as Ah Lek (Chan Bak Cheong), Rocky, Gou Hou Jing, Hong Cheok Lap, Zhong Xu Man, EO2, Sun Boy'z, Danny, Daniel, Kwok Fai, Quan Nan Ban Junior, Andrew etc.

I only enjoyed half of the show. Overall it was okay. Of course I enjoy the local artistes performances. But the male HK artistes are damn yeng and leng chai ok! And there's this crew who's damn tall and yeng weh!

I had more fun chasing the stars after the show. Eric from EO2 recognize Teng and what a funny phrase he said. Pei Jie waved to me when he was on the bus. Wah, lum sei. Fai siu, Daniel, Danny... kekeke... After that we went makan at Old Town opposite Arena Of Stars. It's open 24 hours. So cool. Then all went back and rest. So tired. But we end up watching 'Dead Or Alive (DOA)' until 4am. Wake up at 9am. By the time we go down to where the stars stay, they all went down to KL already. So we went makan and left back to KL. This time we took the bus from the First World bus station. Ok wor. RM5.05 but only stop at Pekeliling lah. No need so ma fan walk to the Cable Car.

Came back and slept from 6pm - 8pm. Watched the WLT Drama Awards 2007. Danny had a small dancing part with Sharlin and Racken Force representing Battleground. Keke. Well, these 3 days he will have opportunities to mingle with Hong Kong celebs. Which is good for him to expose himself :) But I expected him to sing 'love and freedom' or 'wai hor xiong tai dor' yesterday. But he end up singing 'wanna dance with you'. Too bad.

Busy day for me tomorrow. Gotta go Subang and Ara Damansara. Hehe. 1 more week to deadline. Doomed!

Thanks for all the fun in Genting gals! I enjoyed it!

Crashed~~

Sorry for the long disappearance from updating my blog... my laptop had to be hospitalized for a couple of weeks to have a major operation. The doctor has gone for a long holiday and I seriously don't know how much is the 'surgery fee'. Shucks. The nurses are taking care of it. Hopefully they feed it well and are giving it a lot of TLC. Sigh~

Didn't really bothered to update my blog since I'm using my mum's comp and didn't have the mood to do so too even though I still online almost everyday. Let me see, what happened in the past week... Erm I was sick on Friday (headache and fever - thanks to Voo and Thinesh) still I had to go KLCC to conduct my survey. End up only gave out 3 becuz it was freaking busy there cuz it was the first day of sales in Isetan. My sakai member Pokok was down in KL to attend a very special gathering with my master. It was a very close gathering I would say. More of a friends gathering and I had fun! He looks really good. My master lost weight and he looks good when he's dressed casually :) It was a fun and relaxing 2 nights trip.

Went to different different outlets this week cuz I was scheduled so. Tried a lot of food this week - Alexis (expensive and portion so so), Tony Romas (love their chicken club salad & choc avalanche), Dai Cheong Gum (ok only). Still got loads of cafes in my mind - Cafe Cafe, Yogitree, Cova, Paddington Pancake etc. So many food, so little time, and so little money.

Nike is coming out with so many new stuff! The white 'rat' jacket is darn chunted! The white shoe with gold tick! The red dress jacket! The pants! Spotted an 'empress singlet' at Esprit. Shoes at Momoe! ODM watch! Arghhh... craving to shop. Craving to buy. But no money sob sob.

Nearly got into an argument with my mum the other day which made me think. She was telling me about a way of muffin making she watched on AFC was to freeze the batter and microwave it when defrosted. I who have something against microwaving food to cook it of course objected. And she started nagging me that it's all about trying and if I think it's a tough work in this line I can quit. It got on my nerves. Of course I know it's all about trying! Of course I know it's not an easy job in this line! Of course I know we have to try various recipes to get what we like! Of course I know! If not, why the hell am I studying this course? Do you think it's just for the sake of dumping your money into the big sea? Do you think I don't enjoy cooking, trying and attempting various recipes? Do you think I don't want to know how to cook anything and everything? Arghhh! Moronic.

I'm getting disappointed with everything more and more. THe country is not safe anymore. People are not protected anymore. People are kidnapped, robbed, raped, killed, bombed everyday. Babies are thrown. Kids are abused. Women are harrassed. Hutan was right. It's too much publicity. Sharlinie is still not found yet. But people are just making a big hoo hah out of it. God knows if she's still alive. Perhaps she might be, but seeing all this hoo hahs, the kidnapper might just end her life for the fun of it. Worse, the family hired 50 bomohs to predict where she is, and all said she's still alive and will be found within a week. For God's sake, upon seeing this, the kidnapper might kill her just to make sure the predictions are not right! But why is the world turning this way? Why are we leaning towards cruelty?!? The kids are innocent. Just let them go. Whats so nice about torturing people this way? Why must you make people sad and hurt? Please don't break the law and do cruel stuff like that. I'm sure there's other ways to solve problems. Sigh~~~

Chinese New Year is coming! Woo hoo! I would say that I'm much more excited about this year's CNY compared to last year's. Even though the hyperness is fading year by year as we grow up. Some even tend to leave the country during CNY for holiday in overseas. Looking forward to house hopping, ang pow collecting, food eating, family gathering, chit chatting and gambling! hehehe!

Stress...

Filling very cold and sad now... like Dementor's is around me and just sucked all my happiness away. (Finee, I was reading HP juz now) I am SUPPOSED to be rushing for my dissertation. SUPPOSED to be looking hard for info. SUPPOSED to be typing my report. SUPPOSED to be storming my brain for more ideas. SUPPOSED to be taking good rest. SUPPOSED to be working hard. SUPPOSED SUPPOSED SUPPOSED...

Lotsa things in my mind now. I'm really worried failing my thesis. Yeah yeah, I know, I should do my best. If I do nothing about it of course i'll fail. I just don't have the urge to do it. I told myself 4 months back I must work hard on this but I just didn't. I told myself I must not leave for last minute but I did. I told myself a lot of things but I end up doing the opposite. I just laze around. Sigh. Gambateh! Well, just try hard to complete as much as I can lah! Ishh~

Damn.

So called Tea Time @ Canton-I, 1U

Saw masak-masak's post on this shop not too long ago. Was at 1u having lunch with my friends. They went for a movie and so ngam bump into another Sakai team member - a fish! She wanted something soupy so I thought of this place and gave it a try.

I was NOT HUNGRY but looking at the menu makes my stomach drums. Fish ordered wantan noodles soup and I ordered just plain wantan. Very fresh prawns and meaty. But ssssssslightly too salty. After reading masak2's blog I expected really huge wantans. Disappointed. I still can gulp it down in one mouth =_=" RM10.80++

Looks like Mummy-I just gave birth. First was Dragon-I, now it's Canton-I! They're owned by same group of people lah~ Menu also have similar drinks and desserts.

My drink cum dessert - Mixed Fruit in Sago Cream with Pearls (well, not the real pearls, the flour black pearls =_=") It's refreshing. Got honeydew, mango, watermelon, dragon fruit. RM10++

Canton-I's jiu-pai egg tarts. I love this type of egg tarts... Flaky pastry with smooth egg custard. Yum. Two egg tarts for RM3++

What really caught my eye was this... and what makes me so eager to post about this was this too...

Ta daa~~~

Both of us went like 'OMG!!!!! SoooooOoOo Cuteeee!' Cute hor cute hor? I don't have to say what it resembles right? But it's red bean paste inside... Dao sa bao. However, taste wise was ok only. The pau dough was a bit too thick and quite tough. RM6++

Non Halal. Weekdays open from 11.00am - 10.00pm. Weekends and PH open from 10.30am - 10.00pm.

Craved For Long Time , Lum Mee @ Taman Yu Lek, Cheras

The other day was on a makan trip with some Sakai team members - a forest (SS), a kipas (Fanny) and a fillet (YR) =_=" Shall intro my other team members some day soon :)

First stop, a place that I visit quite often last time. A place I go with my parents and grandparents. My parents love it, my grandparents love it, even I adore it. So, I don't think it will be a disappointing trip there.

This Lum Mee and Yong Tao Fu shop is a corner lot at Jalan Kas Kas. If you come from Connaught, turn up the left upslope road heading towards Pusat Bandaraya and Leisure Mall, after you pass Leisure Mall, keep left and go down the road to the roundabout. Take a 9 o clock and you'll come to a traffic light under a overhead highway. Turn right at the traffic light and you will see a dim sum shop on your left (if i'm not mistaken) and CIMB on your right. Then you'll see a petrol station. BHP I think. Go straight until the end of the road and that's Jalan Kas Kas. The shop is on your right. I forgot to take down the name though.

Lunch hours are usually crowded with people and you have to wait about 20 - 30 minutes for your food. They will give you a piece of yong tao fu items you can choose and order and they'll take the lum mee and drinks order from you. Thich black gravy with juicy prawns and loads of chicken meat and big thick yellow noodles. Yum yum. You can choose mihun or kuey teow too. Or mix. :) Their 'kat jai shuin mui' is nice.

Besides, there's also a rojak stall outside the shop where if you are too hungry to wait, you can always bite on these mixture of fruits first :) I always buy one when I'm there. RM3.50 for a regular pack. Just tell them if you're ta pao-ing or having it there. If eating there, they'll slice open the plastic bag for the ease of you eating. But you have to carry it to the table yourself la :)

4 of us had a lum mee each and about 7 pieces of yong tau fu each cost us about RM40 plus.

Non halal.

Reality...

I guess I'm not strong-willed enough to make my resolution come true...
Instead of cutting down on phood, i seemed to be eating more!
Endless cravings within me. Hou crave em crave, crave for high carbo phood samore! Deng~
Really must stop dee. Say TAK NAK to carbo! Waa~~ I wanna be healthy and thin!

Okay, I'm supposed to be happy about it.
But I'm not! I should be but I didn't! I'm sick of it!
Instead, I'm annoyed with it. Well, not really annoyed, just a bit.
What's wrong with me!

In reality, people are all materialistic... What differs is only the degree of 'materialistic-ness'.
In reality, people are bias... Pilih kasih... Guys only care for pretty, slim girls... Who cares if your best friend is the friendliest girl in the world if she's ugly. People have intentions in their heart when they befriend you. Only when they want something from you, they'll be SUPER nice to you. For fcuks they care if you died centuries ago when you mean nothing to them.
Sorry, just wanna release my anger. This paragraph is just saying about particularly SOMEONE. Someone who's I'm sure not reading my blog. So, it's not talking about you k?
~ Wake up Eve, face the reality you dumbo, you're ugly and fat and you have zero value~

My Brain Usage Profile

Saw this link on Sar's blog and decided to try playing with it... Haha, I doubt I use even 20% of my brains... Today even my manager said: "Drink more oolong tea, so you not so 'oolong'" =_=" Ma de~

Your Brain Usage Profile:

Auditory : 47%
Visual : 52%
Left : 61%
Right : 38%

Eve, you are somewhat left-hemisphere dominant with a balanced preference for auditory and visual inputs. Because of your "centrist" tendencies, the distinctions between various types of brain usage are somewhat blurred.

Your tendency to be organized and logical and attend to details is reasonably well-established which should afford you success regardless of your chosen field of endeavor, unless it requires total spontaneity and ability to improvise, your weaker traits. However, you are far from rigid or overcontrolled. You possess a degree of individuality, perceptiveness, and trust in your intuition to function at much more sophisticated levels than most.

Having given sufficient attention to detail, you can readily perceive the larger aspects and implications of a situation or of learning. You are functional and practical, but can blend abstraction and theory into your framework readily.

The equivalence of your auditory and visual learning orientation gives you two equally effective sensory input systems, each with distinctive features. You can process both unidimensionally and multidimen- sionally with equal facility. When needed, you sequence material while at other times you "intake it all" and store it for processing later.

Your natural ability to use your senses is also synthesized in your way of learning. You can be reflective in your approach, absorbing material in a non-aggressive manner, and at other times voracious in seeking out stimulation and experience.

Overall you tend to be somewhat more critical of yourself than is necessary and avoid enjoying life too much because of a sense of duty. You feel somewhat constrained and tend to sometimes restrict your expressiveness. In any given situation, you will opt for the rational, and learning of almost any type should be easy for you. You might need certain ideas explained to you in order to fit them into your scheme of things, but you're at least open to that!

Err, what does it mean? :p

Something's Missing

My new year countdown was horrible... I went to Sungai Wang for the concert... 2nd year already... Last year I had a blast... Even though just after arguing with a friend. The recent countdown, some stupid Ah Bengs who stood behind me spoiled my mood. Damn blardy @ssholes... Curse them cannot get married, and even if they do, they won't get any kids. Phart phace. I've never seen people as hutan and as jakun and as sakai as them. Spoil the word 'sakai' only.

First, dah lah know gonna stand very long, bring lah water! When rela don't give them water, they keep shouting say rela tak bertimbang rasa. I so feel like turning around and give them my bottle and said 'if this bottle of water can shut ur blardy mouth, i'll give it to you'. Then they managed to get water from someone and they shouted to the rela 'I got water liao, no need urs!' KNN. And they took like 20 over bookmarks when the Digi yellow man give out. Say 'help u pass to the back' my foot lah! Samore lean on me to take. KNNCCB! And when 988 DJ give out goodie bags to Gary FC, one of them snatch one of the goodie bags from GFC! And, sik siu siu wanna ban doi biu... Don't even know who are the performers, wanna action they know the names... Orange they say Yu Heng... Think that they sing song damn nice like that... pitching so out. My ears also wanna go deaf liao... yucks... they din know justin's coming out after the fireworks, they asked like 20 times 'justin also haven't sing!', 'eh, y justin never come out one?' 'finish dy? *bad words* justin also haven't sing!' I beh ta han, turn around and said 'wait laH! he later only coming out' then they keep quiet... ishhhh~ Samore complain the dancers so fat and all... Halfway thru the show it rained and YR was holding umbrella, one of them syiok sendiri just stand under the umbrella ask YR to tumpang him... kns... slap kau them until their mother cannot recognize them baru tau...

Sorry lah... really beh ta han this kind of people... samore, legs tired dee squat down and smoke! Blardy hell! Not once but twice! Smelly like pharks... Talk so loud macam people around them are deaf like that... I think everybody around there also hate them... even ah kor told ML my face was like black charcoal from far... another friend of mine also said it was damn obvious... YR also said 'i can boil water already now' and keep trying to cool herself down... Even though I enjoyed the ending part of the concert, but it totally wracked my mood. Darn.

Fine... forget about it... Just some random pics for now...

Daniel and Alison, wishing you both everlasting love.

The cin cai girl, the sakai girl, the SAD girl and the SS boy.

Me and CY.

Me and Jeannie. And a turtle behind.

Me with the 3 orang gila that makes me tempted to move to Penang :)

4 new friends... My best trip to Penang so far. Thank you so much all of you *lub*

Besties forever. *heart*

Just now when I was walking down the escalator to my car, maybe due to the whole day facing the laptop, suddenly I felt like, there's something missing from my life. I don't know what, but it's that SOMETHING. Suddenly had the urge to just drive along the road all night long... driving to somewhere far and just drive and drive and drive... First destination that comes to my mind was Port Dickson. i don't know why. What's missing? People say we can be happy always... but what will happy be if there's no sadness?

~ It's funny to see a long hair guy with a girl with boy-cut short hair. =_="

You know who you are <3
