Two weeks ago, Mr Terence Dass, our college's co-curicculum teacher came into our class and told all the girls about this city survival course that we are COMPULSORY to attend (tipu one! Actually not compulsory!) were to be held on 8th Feb, so each of us paid RM10 and the others will be subsidised by the college...
Just 2 hours before the course starts, I suddenly really don't feel like going... I really, really wanted to go home... Amanda suddenly changed her mind, saying she dowan to go... Oklor, aihz, since i paid liao so i better go la... Left me and Ivy...
The talk was held by OSH Dynamics Holdings Sdn Bhd, whereby one of the organizers was an ex-taylorian... Can't remember his name... Then the guy who do the talk is Mr. Bala, he's a safety activist, a very active person in all these safety programs, Director Of Training MVFRA Fire & Rescue Academy, Founder of a lot of programs, Chairman of M'sian Volunteer Fire & Rescue Assoc, JSP Volunteer Firefighter Association...
Fortunately, i did not regret going for this talk... It was fantastic... Only girls were allowed in the hall (well, except for a few committee members), they showed us weapons used by rapist/robbers, slides of rape cases, what to do if this happened to us, what is safe, tips to prepare ourselves, everything... It was really good...
Sorry i can't share the tips here... Hehe, ask me privately and i'll tell you... Like what Mr. Bala said, you'll never know what will happen tomorrow, so you must always prepare yourself...
