Revisiting Tien Hou Temple

Ho ho ho... this post is like one month late.

I remember when I was young, I always loved to come to this place. When grandpa was still able to drive far, he would always bring me and my cousins here. Every time during Chinese New Year or Mooncake Festival, this is the place to be.

I still remember participating in a family day thing with my elder cousin and grandma. We had treasure hunt, memory game at the hill at the back of the temple, sketch, food etc. I still can remember there's this abandoned brick hut on the hill and they put a lot of things in there and we have to memorize as many things as we can. I still remember there was a pack of maggi mee.

Since then I had never come to Tien Hou temple anymore. It's been years. So the other day after a birthday party me, SS, ML and Teng went there cuz some people have not been there before. Now it has been beautified, still looks very clean and elegant. I guess people will always associated serenity and peace with this temple. Somehow I feel very calm and nice when I come to this place. Can't believe temple can be a pak toh place for people. Dottt.

There is a tortoise pond and herbs garden at the back of the temple. Very nice place. I see lots and lots of tortoise. Greeneries all around.

I really love this bunch of bamboos but don't know how to take a nice pic of it :(

My fondest memory of Tien Hou Temple is always this "Wishing Pond cum Guan Yin Saint Water" When I was small, I will always come to this Guan Yin and drink the 'saint water'. They used to have cups provided, then you just kneel on the stone plat in front of the pond, make a wish and drink the water.

Now they have a new one, bigger one outside the temple. Don't ask me if the water is clean or not, I don't want to know lol.

For those who wants to get a partner soon, can come and touch this ah gong. The red bag on the left is called the 'red thread bag'. Red thread is used to matchmake a couple together.

Really glad for this trip. Even though I'm not a Buddhist, but I enjoyed coming here a lot. More trips to come :)

Coming up next:
- 988 global live music party + danny's north promo
- Crossfire!

Happy Birthday D2J!

I seriously didn't expect to win. I only sent two sms in. One was not even in the 'cue to sms' time. Didn't really look forward to it too, due to *something*. Suddenly received a call saying I won, and what?!? Pyjamas party?!? WTH. The sms I sent was 'electronic games theme' and crab shape cake. So tml called me to go buy a cake. So last minute, how to get oh. Luckily for the nice aunty in Merry cakehouse :) Very prettily done.

Got crabs and goldfishes at the side (all gum yue lou wakakak). Pretty mou? Red eggs by ML.

I was quite disappointed when found out the room was not even 1% decorated. They can even ask us 'where's the decoration'. Dottt. If want us to deco, say mah... Say lah we have to do according to our sms. Deng~ None bother changing into pyjamas. Seriously all winners are girls.

Very nice of Jason to mention some of the names on this. Kekeke.

Danny is so *wub*. Daniel is so thoughtful. Jason is so funny. All three of them are Cancerians, July babies :)

They totally don't know about this party. Danny wore shorts tim. Daniel asked 'how come you all are here?' Jason: "why all girls geh?"
(Pics of D2J credit to Itung)

This three fellas ar... After cake cutting Joey helped cut the cake, this Jason and Danny busy eat only, only Daniel look around making sure everyone gets a piece of cake.

Don't need to look. I'm not in the pic.

To be honest I didn't really enjoy the whole thing. I was quite enthusiastic before the thing started. Maybe cuz they cut short a lot of things. I'm sure *someone* feels the same too :p I hope I am right haha. I doubt they even noticed I was there. Maybe only Daniel. And yeah, Malaysian fans are shy when the artistes are so near.

Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DANIEL, DANNY AND JASON! WUB!

~Someone is cute :p

Sooner or Later

Wuaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!! Fark man! Can't go for 988 concert in Penang! Bu hu~~ i so want to go! Got Danny leh :( Wait, I WAS supposed to go.. but... it's my baby cousin's birthday as well, exact date, hmm, I guess family is more important lah. Plus she's my angel. And she's having a party which needs my help. The worst thing is, I won tickets from 8tv! Grrrr! And now I can't go. Sobz! Sorry Danny. I'm sure there will be tonnes of other fans shouting and screaming for you ;)

I'm fearing for my health, again. Since yesterday my back hurts. I have no idea why because I didn't hurt it. Now it's painful when i stand straight, or when I try to stand up after sitting. Sometimes when I walk it's painful too. It feels 'sour' (the way they say it in cantonese). Feels like my nerves are being pulled. Gosh. What if I can't walk anymore :S

Working life seriously equals to no life. It's only part time but due to it I missed a few of his events already. And today, I totally forgot about his interview on 988! Arghh! I wanna go EM for his promo!!! Bu hu!

Sooner or later, it matters no more.
One fine day, i'll just walk away.
Sooner or later... i'll fade away.

Relaxing...

Been busy for the past month. Busy handling Daniel's birthday. Busy firing. And went for Gary's 1st ever concert! It was awesome deyh. Love the stage, love the jokes, and most important love his humbleness! But not enough la...

Hmm, 4 days never blogged, but i feel like it's been years... Am currently at NZX Station 1, with a bunch of crazy people, free wi fi here. My first time sitting at a cafe and online and blog. Feel quite fun, maybe I should try more. Kekekeke.

Hmm, updates... Been working the past 4 days at Star Planet. They needed part time for ticketing so since I had nothing to do, just go and earn a few bucks. How's work? Erm, oklah. Feel very new in this field. Feel very useless as well.

Finally watched the English version of Kungfu Panda. With my family. Haha, it's the first time the whole family go for movies together! It was the first time my parents step into MV's cinema haha! Will watch Made of Honour tomorrow for the second time! Wu hu!

Hmm, I guess I've been 'resting' too long already, makes me lazy. Too relaxed already I guess. Even when I online at Star Planet, pokok and hutan said "i'm so not used to seeing you say you're working" Haha. Am seriously considering finding a permanent job already. Which means no more star chasing, no more leisure, no more entertainment. Am contemplating to work office work or work something that I love but tiring. I guess whats best is go with the flow... Shall wait until after my convo :p

So into travelling these few days. I wanna go everywhere!! I miss hatyai! I wanna go macau, hk, singapore, australia, uk, us, germany, spain etc etc etc!! I wanna go tour around Malaysia! I wanna go mountain hiking, i wanna go taman negara, i wanna go camping, backwood, island hopping!

~ 红色的是你,蓝色我的颜色,紫色没出现过。。。 (Hint: PSP hahahaha!)

~ I don't know what to buy for him...
~ Yesterday is a history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That's why it's called 'present' :D Love this line.

* Currently addicted to the song on my music box. "Chi.Zao" 迟。早 by Manhand. Their song is nice wei!! And Daeren is cute! Wahahaha!
