Tor+ Saksit - Mung?

Parents went Hatyai last weekend, 'tumpang' them to buy CDs for me. They manage to buy Tor's latest cd 'Mung?' for me! Yippeeeeee!!!

I love every single song in it! There's the usual Thai pop, Tor+'s style of love songs, and in this album he attempted rock and jazz! Amazingly, it's good! Gosh, this makes me love him even more. He looks so good here!

Saw some clips on his Valentine's Day Concert 2009 on Youtube. 13 parts! I saw the 1st clip only and I already feel it's damn good. The amount of people and how they sing along with him. Wow. Shall wait for the dvd. Yippee!!!

Tor+ is *lub*

I seriously don't know how or why I would fall so deeply for a guy like him. But, he just amuses me. His fingers running on the piano keys like he's born knowing how to play. Well, he started playing since three, what do you expect? :D

Who am I talking about? Tor+!!! *wub wub wub* My new idol. No, I still love Danny with all my heart. But I've always like artistes who plays the piano. And Tor+ is the best I've known so far. I only knew about him last year, when he won the MTV Asia Awards 2008 Fave Thai Artiste, and when Danell went over to Bangkok to interview him. Then, just recently I saw his video clips, and oh gosh, I am so in lurve with 'rak ter'!



So last week he was over here for his album promo. (Yeah this blog post is kinda delayed) Yippee! Unfortunately it was a promo for his Malaysia Edition of "Piano & I" and not his latest album :( I heard his latest album Munk? online, and it's really a great album!


So coincidentally, as Tor+ is from Sony Music, Danell decided to venture into hosting and became Tor's promo emcee! 2 in one hehe!



Ok, people must be wondering why is there a plus sign on his name right? Well, the plus sign is an intonation, so it's actually pronounced as the 2nd sound in Chinese. So cute! *wub* Rupa rupanya his dad is a Chinese! He speaks a little Mandarin, and is learning at the moment. And he has a Chinese name! Lol! 马盛甲 *wub wub*

Oklah, he's just my current craze at the moment. Kinda regret never join the game at his promo that day. I knew all the answers. I can even sing almost the whole song of rak ter dy. Hehe! SS-nya. He's just fantastic lah. Give him some keynotes and he can compose a whole song out of it. And his English is near perfect :) Too bad he says he likes girl who don't know music at all :( Can I pretend not to? Lol! And he's so shy! But his smile is charming! Especially when he smiles timidly :p

Ok, I'm praising him too much. But Tor+ = LOVE. He's fantastic. Hope he comes to Malaysia soon. Super super soon.

His Malaysia Edition: Piano & I. Piano & I is actually his first solo album. It's all instrumental songs with the piano (duh). With three bonus tracks.

Tor+ Saksit is coming to town!

For those of you who don't pause my blog music player *stares at someone*, the artiste who sing that song is coming to Penang and KL this weekend! Yippeeee!

Tor+ Saksit is a Thai artiste and excellent pianist. That song 'Rak Ter' which means 'love you' was a five times number one hit. He's here to promote his latest Asian edition of 'Piano & I'.

He's not really like super good looking, but I really like the way he plays the piano. Quite some number of his songs are very nice as well. His latest album 'Munk?' was very well done. I would say I like most of the songs.

And next week, Danell will be having his last promo of his "Sharing" compilation album, making it a grand one, an unplugged live band jazz showcase at Wisma MCA on 27th Feb at 8pm! Just wanna share with you a couple of MVs in this album. Cute and nice. My personal fave is the former - Danny rap CNY song *chuckles* 〈十二生肖庆丰年〉 and the MV is funny. I spotted Nicky from Racken Force inside, I think it's her la.

Another of my fave:〈新年YEAH〉 by May子 & JNK. Love the dance, and love the expression on their faces when they do the 'bong bong bong' and 'pang pang pang' haha! Especially May子's.



It's super worth buying! RM24.90 for DVD + CD. But they're coming out with repack with extra stuff so wait for the repack one!

Well, no doubt, one would compare with MY FM's 《MY Astro牛转乾坤庆团圆》. Hmm, both have their own supporters itself of course. And, definitely it's individual's preference. I insist in 988 while my aunt prefers My Fm's. Well, my baby don't care as long as there's lion dance in it. But she can sing my fm's "Qing Zhu" already. Both their theme songs are easy to remember and hum, and honestly, I think MY FM's one is slightly more lively (the tune) but I prefer 988's MVs and cover design. Quality wise of course MY FM fairs better with help from Astro and they had experience doing it while it's 988's first time. But it's very well done already! Already 12000 copies sold before it was officially released. Now already past double platinum which is 25000 copies!

So remember to buy one ok? Cuz it's nice! (Cuz got my idol inside mah hehe) At least one for each house la. When relatives come to your house you can play it for them to watch ma, especially for kids. Because besides bringing out the festive mood, the album also teach us about being obedient, be kind and not to be greedy! RM24.90 only, cheap cheap cheap! And, support ORIGINAL! :D

[Album] Danny One [All In One] Compilation Album

Danny One recently released his first compilation album upon his 7 years journey in the singing industry.


This compilation album includes 18 songs altogether. 2 new ones: Yi Qi Dao Gao (Let's Pray) which points the issue of the unhealthiness of mother nature; and Say Goodbye, an emo love song *sobz!*. The other 16 songs are compositions from the past 7 years such as Love and Freedom, Crazy, Jin Yan, Siapa, Wai Hor Xiong Tai Dor, Leng Zai etc.
